Supporting Scholarships

Each Year, alumni friends, parents, corporations and foundations support SNHU and its students through generous gifts and programmatic partnerships.  This continued support and involvement has a tremendous and far-reaching impact on the lives of our students and the development of the university.  Although SNHU strives to be accessible and affordable, there are still many worthy and highly qualified students who could not attend without the assistance of a scholarship.

We invite you to go the extra mile by investing in or creating an endowed scholarship.  You'll be investing in the future of the university and our students.

Mentor Scholarship Program
The Mentor Scholarship Program gives donors a unique opportunity to direct a scholarship of $5,000 or more to students.  With help from the university's financial aid office, recipients are selected based on financial need, merit, and/or specific criteria.

The Mentors Scholarship program pairs supporters with students whose lack of financial resources could place a Southern New Hampshire University education beyond their reach. By investing in our students today, our donors help generations of students realize dreams of a better life and a better world.

An Example of a mentor scholarship is the Desfosses Family Mentor Scholarship.  This scholarship is awarded to one SNHU student and continued through each succeeding year. This scholarship's preference is to a student with an interest in business management.
