Student Employment
Available student positions are posted on SNHU Jobs. When looking for positions on SNHU Jobs, be sure to search for "Student-Work Study" or "Student-University Paid or Work Study".
A number of Student-Work Study opportunities are available in university offices across campus. Positions are subsidized by the government and are awarded based on financial need. If you have received a financial aid award with work study dollars, you can apply for work study jobs. Review the "Student's Guide to Student Employment" for more information.
Southern New Hampshire University also offers a limited number of Student-University Paid positions. Positions are open to any student, regardless of financial need, who meets SNHU’s employment eligibility requirements. Funding for these positions comes directly from the institutional budget. Positions are limited in number. Review the "Student's Guide to Student Employment" for more information.
Manchester is New Hampshire's Queen City and the population center of the state. Part-time employment opportunities do exist in the local area. Students should carefully weigh the pros & cons of working off campus (i.e. transportation, work hours, flexibility). The university's Career Development Office coordinates information concerning these opportunities and acts as a liaison with local employers. In partnership with the Career Development Office, SNHU Recruit provides full-time, part-time, temporary and internship opportunities targeted by employers to Southern New Hampshire University students and alumni.
