GOP presidential candidate Jon Huntsman delivered his first major foreign policy address on Monday, Oct. 10 from Southern New Hampshire University's Walker Auditorium. The event, which was hosted by the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire, was one of the first regional appearances by the former Utah governor and U.S. ambassador to China since recently relocating his campaign headquarters from Florida to New Hampshire.

Speaking to a packed house, Huntsman called for a scaling back of U.S. involvement in international conflicts, such as Afghanistan, and urged a foreign policy of expansion, not containment, highlighting his vision for US relations with China, India and Brazil, among others.
