Southern New Hampshire University's Low-Residency MFA program in fiction and nonfiction has expanded its advisory board with the addition of Katherine Nintzel, senior editor with William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. Nintzel, a New Hampshire native, said she is delighted to be joining the program’s board. Board members serve as publishing advisors for the students.
"We have an incredibly gifted board," said MFA Director Diane Les Becquets. "Our advisory board members teach workshops and consult one on one with our students at our summer residencies. Kate’s experience in the industry will certainly complement our program and enhance opportunities for our students."
In her nine years at William Morrow, Nintzel has acquired and edited a number of award-winning and New York Times bestselling authors, including NBCC-nominated Laura Kasischke, Booker-nominated Sarah Hall, New York Times bestsellers Melissa Marr, Michael Gross, Lois McMaster Bujold, and Mark Di Vincenzo, national bestsellers John Searles and Jessica Anya Blau, and Edgar-nominated Hallie Ephron.
