SNHU to Present Social Media Business BootCamp

Manchester, NH (April 19, 2012) – With one in three small businesses in the United States now utilizing social media and 38 percent of all CEOs labeling social platforms a top priority, there has never been a better time for companies to learn how to maximize their online experience.

Bearing that in mind, Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) will host its first-ever Social Media Business BootCamp on May 24 from 8 a.m.-3:15 p.m. at SNHU, 2500 North River Road in Manchester.

The event’s keynote speaker will be Neil Deluca, social media/community manager on the Audience, Insight and Retention Team at Yahoo! Deluca’s team defines and implements customer success metrics, methodologies and analytics to continuously improve and enhance Yahoo! Customer Care’s online customer experience. He also heads up Yahoo!’s Customer Advocacy’s “Social 911” program that leverages social media to listen to, intercept and resolve customer issues identified within the social media eco-system.

Workshop sessions at the Social Media Business BootCamp include “Facebook for Brands: How to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube” featuring Pannos Winzeler Marketing Interactive Media Specialist Jillian Emma, “Mobile Marketing/Pinterest” featuring Neudesic Business Development Manager Mark Haddad, “Business Intelligence” featuring wedu Inc. President & CEO Sean Owen, “Optimize Your Social Media Presence” featuring Pannos Winzeler Marketing Vice President of Media Tara Hershberger and “Social Media Marketing” featuring SNHU Marketing Department Chair Pat Spirou. A panel discussion moderated by Neil Deluca will round out the day.
