Campus living is an exciting educational experience. Southern New Hampshire University is committed to maintaining an environment that will provide opportunities to grow, to learn, to accept adult responsibilities, to make intelligent choices, to foster friendships and to increase self-awareness.

Living on campus is a privilege reserved for full-time traditionally-aged undergraduate day students. On a space available and case-by-case basis, the university may offer housing to part-time, graduate, or non-traditional students.

Residence Apartments

Apartments consist of the East Side Apartment Area and the West Side Apartment Area. Students share a common kitchen, living room and bath.

Residence halls consist mainly of double rooms in suites with various capacities; students share a common lounge and bath. Furnished with desks, chairs, beds, drapes and wardrobes.

Residential Room Dimensions

In an effort to provide students with information about how much space they will have in their room, the following is a list of approximate bedroom dimensions campus-wide, by area.

Student Townhouses

The Student Townhouses are furnished with desks, chairs, beds, drapes and wardrobes. They also have living room and kitchen furniture, and a stove and refrigerator. Juniors and seniors usually reside in the townhouses.

Wellness Housing

In 1993, Wellness Housing was formed at SNHU to provide students with an option that was supportive of substance-free living.
