Off-Campus Library Services: Book Requests
Finding and requesting a book in the Shapiro Library:
- Check the Library Online Catalog to confirm your book IS available in our collection
- Fill in the OCLS Article/Book Request Form
- Type in: "Find in a Library" followed by the exact title of the book that you want to locate; such as: "Scholarship Reconsidered".
- Use parentheses to keep the title as a complete phrase - (Scholarship Reconsidered).
- Click on the Search button. If the book is included in OCLC's catalog records, it will register a "hit" as Find in a Library: Scholarship Reconsidered
- Click on the hit to show a brief record for the book
- Fill in the search box below the record with your postal code, state, province or country to show possible locations in your region's libraries that have a copy in their collection.
Contact your local library's Interlibrary Loan Service to arrange a book loan
