Advanced applied regression models with an emphasis on cross-sectional analysis and the application of multiple regression to problems in CED policy and practice. Students will learn to carry out regression analysis using SPSS as well as critically evaluate published regression studies. Topics include constraints of regression models; underlying assumptions and the consequences of their violation; practical and policy implications of quantitative estimation; model building, multiple & partial correlations, multiple regression models, autocorrelations, forecasting and time series analysis. Prerequisite: CED801 and CED802 Statistics Labs.
