From the time he first saw Southern New Hampshire University during his online college search, Jared Gabrey knew it was the school for him.

Jared was looking for a school with a creative approach to his major –advertising -- an innovative advertising lab and a friendly campus. He found all that and more at SNHU.

Jared’s positive impressions of SNHU grew stronger when he visited campus.

“It was everything I expected -- totally awesome. I could tell from the tour that everyone would know me once I got there, and I loved that small school atmosphere,” he says 

Jared has thrived in the classroom and all across campus. He’s developed very tight connections with his professors.

“People think we’re related – that’s how close we are,” he says.

The electronic portfolio he’s created of his work has become a model for other students.

As Student Government Association president, Jared sees how much the administration cares about students.

“Students know who to turn to bring their concerns and issues, knowing that stuff will get done,” he says 

Jared has found many ways to get involved on the campus he loves so much. As a Student Ambassador, he is responsible for assisting visitors. He was an area director in on-campus housing for two years and is a member of Delta Mu Delta, the national business honors society. But it is his role as a campus tour guide that Jared enjoys the most, because he gets to show others the same warmth and friendliness he received when he first toured the campus.
