Benefits for Recognized Student Organizations


Groups, which have been granted University Recognition through the Office of Campus Programming and Leadership and the Student Government Association will be entitled to the following:
  • Use of the university name.
  • Use of university facilities.
  • Conduct fund-raising events on campus with permission from the Student Life/ Student Center Office. Residence Directors must approve sales and solicitations in residence areas.  
  • Listing in official university publications.
  • Participation in the annual Club Day programs held in the fall and spring semesters.
  • Campus publicity by printed announcements such as posters and fliers as outlined by the Office of Campus Programming and Leadership. 
  • Organization mailbox in the Student Organization Suite in the Student Center and use of mail services on campus.
  • Publishing of group events in the University Online Calendar.
  • Petitioning of funding from Student Government Association (SGA) for group projects and activities.
  • Listing on the SNHU Office of Campus Programming & Leadership club webpages.
  • SNHU E-mail Account for your group.
  • OrgSync page for use by your members
  • Use of the SGA van for off-campus trips and conferences.

Exclusionary groups such as Honor Societies will not have use of Student Government funds or van. Some restrictions may also apply to non-partisan, religious and Greek organizations.
