The Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality Administration (BASHA) program is intended to provide international students with the opportunities to participate in hospitality educational and experiential learning programs that facilitate the completion of the bachelor’s degree in the United States. After the successful completion of the program students return home, prepared for management and leadership careers in the hospitality industry anywhere in the world.
Students should have completed at least 90 credit hours (30 subjects) equivalent of the American education standards, with substantial course work in hospitality and tourism related field to enroll in a 14-month program that provides an overview of American culture and the hospitality industry in the United States. Students complete 42 credits at Southern New Hampshire University. Included in the program is a 12-credit supervised practical experience in an American hotel or resort.
