"Making college a realistic goal."
The mission statement for the Partnership Program is written above and is only as successful as your commitment to our program will be.
We offer many services to your son or daughter and we ask you to be as involved as possible with getting them to those activities, encouraging them to complete their community service hours and attend the five week summer academic program. Tutoring, a peer mentoring program involving students from Southern New Hampshire University, social and community service events are all a part of making your son or daughter a potential college candidate. Their active involvement in the program over the three years is critical in achieving college attendance.
You can also attend the monthly parents meetings held at SNHU. This gives you a forum to discuss the program with our staff and to see how other parents are involved with our program. A focus for these meetings would be upcoming events and specific information about the college preparation time-line for you. Several of the meetings will have guest speakers from our Admission Staff, Financial Aid Office and Student Activities.
Our goal is to send all of our program participants to college and we have many that will attend school in NH and across New England. Each year several students choose to attend SNHU where additional scholarships are available to you as a participant in our high school program.
