Last Chapter Pub
During most evenings, the pub presents entertainment such as:
- Live music
- DJ’s
- Dances
- Comedians
- Movie nights
- Game shows
- BINGO
If your event is for SNHU students, faculty, or staff (for example you are hosting a reception for International Students), the pub is free to use and includes the following:
- Two plasma TV’s
- XM radio
- Pool table
- Wi-Fi
- Free Snacks & soda
If your event is not for SNHU members (for example you are hosting a private function such as a birthday party or baby shower), there is a service charge of $300. The $300 includes the room rental fee, linen use if needed, and the above amenities.
Beer and wine service can be available for an additional charge.In order for beer and wine service to be available at an event, you must meet with the Pub Manager (Stephanie Barry) who has the authority to approve or disapprove beer and wine service at an event.
Last Chapter Pub's ID Policy
New Hampshire law requires all bars and pubs in the state to check ID’s at the bar. In accordance with this law, the Last Chapter Pub will be checking ID’s for those who are 21+ at both the door and the bar. In accordance with the state law, the Last Chapter Pub will only accept non-expired US Driver’s Licenses, New Hampshire Resident Cards, Military ID’s or Passports as proper forms of identification. Temporary ID’s will be accepted only if the expired ID can be produced with the temporary ID. Other forms of identification will not be accepted.
Other Policies
- All SNHU students must present their SNHU ID upon entry
- Guests will need a guest pass issued by the Public Safety office.
- The Pub accepts CASH only. $50’s & $100’s will not be accepted.
- During events that offer beer and wine service, outside beverages and food will not be allowed in the pub. Students will be asked to throw away any beverages and food before entering or be asked to leave it at the table outside of the pub where they can claim it at the conclusion of the event.
- If you are visibly intoxicated upon arrival or display inappropriate behavior at the door, you will not gain admittance into the pub.
- Students who are 21 years old and older, will receive an ID bracelet from the bartender. Students must wear the wristband for the duration of the event in order to be served. Only one bracelet per student. Lost or ripped off wristbands will not be replaced by the bartenders.
- Students who are 21 years old and younger, will receive two markered X’s on their hands. These X’s are not to be removed until the conclusion of the event.
- The Pub supports One Earth. One Bottle. During events, canteens must be empty upon entry.
- It is up to the discretion of the pub staff and manager to decide if you have had too much to drink and if you should no longer be served
- Underage drinking & inappropriate behavior during events will not be tolerated and will be documented.
- All students must adhere to the SNHU policies found in the student handbook.
