Other Vehicle Requirements

Operators of any motor vehicle must possess a valid driver’s license and proper insurance coverage. Uninsured operators or owners of vehicles involved in accidents causing personal injury or property damage on campus will have their driving privileges revoked until restitution is made and proof of insurance is provided. Minimum coverage required is bodily injury - $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident; property damage - $25,000.

Legally issued state handicap permits will be honored (any state). Temporary handicap parking permits may be obtained from the N.H. Department of Motor Vehicles. The nearest office to campus is at 815 Canal Street in Manchester. Southern New Hampshire University does not have the authority to issue handicap parking permits .

All campus roadways are considered fire lanes.
