Snow Removal

During the winter, you must watch for special snow removal notices posted around campus with instructions about where and when to move your vehicles. Public safety cannot possibly contact each and every student each and every time parking lots are plowed.

You are strongly encouraged to carry a snow shovel in your car.

Parking lots are color coded to facilitate snow removal, and red flags are flown on the east and west side of campus to designate snow removal.

Following snow removal, all vehicles must be returned to the properly designated lots between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. ( This allows for the lots to be cleared and continuously maintained until 5:00 Am. Do not assume because the lot has been cleared prior to 5:00 Am that you may return your vehicle)

Watch for special postings in residential areas, the cafeteria and e-mail. Any vehicle hampering snow removal will be towed at owner's expense. This may include vehicles left on campus while their owners are away, so please leave your keys with a trusted friend.
