BASHA Academic Program
During the 14 month program, each student earns 42 credit hours of work in the following general format:
Summer One
4 courses = 12 credit hours
Fall - Spring
Work Placement = 12 credit hours
Summer Two
6 courses = 18 credit hours

The American Work Experience 3 credits
Summer Session One, Term B
(July 6, to August 5, 2010)
- Introduction to Psychology or Sociology - 3 credits
- Legal Issues in the Hospitality & Tourism Industry - 3 credits
- Finite Mathematics or Statistics - 3 credits
(based on math background of student)
TOTAL CREDITS SUMMER I - 12 credits*
(August 9, 2010 to May 27, 2011)
- Internship - 12 credits
TOTAL CREDITS WORK PLACEMENT - 12 credits
*NOTE: Students who need additional English assistance will be required to take Fundamentals of Writing for International students as an additional course at current summer school tuition rate.

- Public Speaking - 3 credits
- Sales Management or Resort Development - 3 credits
- Economics - 3 credits
