MDI-Ghana Accommodations
Participants at the MDI-Ghana will be hosted at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Conference Facilities in Accra, Ghana
You can choose between One Week or Two Week Accommodation Packages in Single or Double Rooms
Each weekly package includes
- Dinner on Sunday evening of your arrival
- Breakfast each day Monday through Sunday of the week you are in attendance
- Lunch and dinner each day Monday through Saturday of the week you are in attendance
- Coffee/tea breaks twice daily while in class
- Roundtrip Airport transportation from Accra's Kotoka International Airport

Commuter Fee
Non Resident participants to the MDI-Ghana 2009 will be charged a commuter fee of $370 per person per week. This includes the use of conference facilities, field trip transportation costs and all meals (except breakfast) from Monday to Saturday. Note, this fee is inclusive of the cost of dinner as nonresident participants are expected to attend the various activities that are held on most evenings. Such activities also provide an opportunity to interact with other participants and in some cases the need to meet for group projects that are assigned by the instructors.
Setting & Location
GIMPA, located some eight miles north of the city of Accra, is housed on a 150 acres high ground at Greenhill, off the Achimota - Legon road and within a stone's throw of the University of Ghana. Greenhill with its white buildings and surrounded by green vegetation and the Achimota Forest Reserve, is a spot of striking and restful scenic beauty. On clear days it commands in one long panoramic sweep, a view embracing the University of Ghana with the undulating Accra Plains in the back-ground, the Kotoka International Airport, part of the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission and the hills of the Akwapim Range.
Services and Facilities
Dormitory style rooms include a bed, desk, chair, television, telephone, bathroom with a shower and rooms are air conditioned. All meals and classes will be held in the same building which house the dorm rooms. Internet access is available on the the GIMPA campus.
Travelling to GIMPA
From Tetteh Quarshie Roundabout, take the Legon-Madina road to University of Ghana, Legon. Enter University of Ghana, Legon and exit through back gate towards Achimota. Drive straight past security gate for 150 meters to GIMPA junction and turn left. Drive straight to enter GIMPA.
