Field Hockey Club

The Field Hockey Club is in its third year of recognition as a club team at Southern New Hampshire University. In the summer of 2009, the club became a full member of the National Field Hockey Club League, which allows the club to schedule games with other surrounding university and college level clubs such as the University of Vermont, University of Rhode Island and Brown University. The club welcomes all players of either gender and encourages anyone who wants to stay active, meet new people, get involved and have fun to please join. The club has equipment available for new players who are willing to learn the sport. Not only does the team engage in practices on the field, but we are scheduled for several games in the fall and a tournament in Maryland during the spring session.

Meeting time and location:
Practices are once a week in the Fall; outdoors behind the softball field or in the small gym, depending on the weather. Throughout the month of October, the club will be traveling all across the east coast for games and a Breast Caner Walk in Rhode Island. This coming Spring 2010, there will be a tournament in Maryland for the National Field Hockey League, in which the club will participate in the local area indoor league to prepare for the event.
