Dining Services

Southern New Hampshire University has a rich tradition in taking food seriously on campus, as evidenced by the many accomplishments of our culinary students and alumni. These days this seriousness can also be seen in the Student Center as we seek to provide the campus with the food service today's students demand.

SNHU has just added the Common Grounds Coffee Shop. Appropriately named by the student body, the Common Grounds Coffee Shop strives to provide the campus with a place where everyone can come together to grab a specialty coffee, pastry or a quick sandwich. The area has been developed as a place to casually lounge, with plush couches and pub-style tables. Coming soon: fresh-baked breads and outdoor seating.

A common concept in student dining is "grazing" - providing the diner with various food stations from which to pick and choose. SNHU grasped this concept as it sprang up at other college campuses and in the fall opened the new area in the Function Room off the Cafeteria. This servery offers "exhibition-style" cooking, another popular food concept that allows diners to watch their food being prepared.

Students can find a variety of food to satisfy their taste buds. From pasta to stir fry, sandwiches to speciality meals made to your liking, dining services works hard to serve you.
