This course helps to prepare students to teach history, geography, civics, and social science areas in grades 5 though 12. A variety of teaching methods prepare students to write lessons and prepare units that include other disciplines; differentiated instruction; and formative and summative assessments. Students also prepare an action research proposal in the course.
