This course is designed to help students prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The following concepts contained in the PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) are covered: the five process groups (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing), and the nine knowledge areas Integration, Scope, time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement, and Professional and Social Responsibility). Students taking this course must ensure that they meet all of the eligibility requirements established by the PMI for the PMP certification exam.
