The goal of this 2-course sequence is for each student to achieve the level of proficiency in academic writing that is necessary to complete the Master's degree. This will include mastery of writing skills and techniques in three areas (1) Composition; (2) Style and Clarity; and (3) Mechanics. ICD 401 and ICD 402 constitute the sequence of academic writing courses during the first and second semesters of the ICD MS program.
