HTM 228 - HR Management in Hospitality/Tourism
This course is designed to provide students with the theories and practical applications of leadership they need to manage in the hospitality and tourism industry. The leadership challenges of human resources, organizational behavior and organizational change are explored from a human capital perspective. Students are expected to understand the role of leadership for hospitality and tourism professionals and the distinction between leaders and managers and apply team- building, coaching and conflict management skills to enhance leadership potential.
