This course offers an interpretive and critical study of literature that is appropriate for children from preschool through the elementary school years. The course will focus on the various literary genres, elements of fiction, authors and illustrators. For education majors; others by permission of instructor. Does not satisfy literature requirement in B.A./B.S. core.
