This course is an introduction to the principles of political economy for School of Liberal Arts and other interested students who do not require the technical treatment of economics in general that traditional microeconomics and macroeconomics course provide. The course will expose students to concepts such as supply and demand, markets, national income, international trade, economic development, and the relationship between power and markets.
