Using Adobe's CS6 Creative Suite students will produce several in-class projects during the semester as well as one major end-of-semester project on their won. This filmmaking course will provide important hands-on experience for either beginner or advance level filmmaking students. The course will feature emphasis on editing (Adobe Premiere Pro), encoding (Adobe Media Encoder), Sound mixing (Adobe Audition) and DVD authoring (Adobe Encore). No prerequisites required. Readings from the textbook, screenings and discussions on topics such as genres, camera formats, camera/format options, shot-composition/cinematography, editing techniques, and web compression will be covered and discussed.
