SNHU School of Education
The school offers undergraduate and graduate programs for teaching at all levels, from elementary through high school, plus child development, school counseling and school psychology degrees. Programs are available on campus, on location and online.
We believe students shouldn’t have to wait until the final year to see what it is like to lead a classroom. That’s why our undergraduates work in schools during the first year. Some serve in local community- and school-based early childhood programs. Our graduate students can learn to become school counselors (among many other professions), helping to fill a critical need in our schools. Our certification programs meet New Hampshire's state requirements (which closely mirror those of other states).
The school also offers a program tailored to school districts. Our field-based programs already include sites Vermont, Alaska, Mexico, Wisconsin and New Hampshire.
As diverse as our programs are, they're all community-based, committed to excellence and dedicated to service. Here at Southern New Hampshire University, we believe that education is a means to a better life for students, for communities, and, not least of all, for educators.
