Who Should Attend MDI
The Microenterprise and Development Institute is designed for Microenterprise Managers, Executive Directors, Program Directors, NGO managers and CEOs, Financial Managers, Operations Managers, Board Members from Micro Finance NGOs, Credit Unions, Banks, and other Micro Finance institutions, staff from State and National governments, Donors of Micro Finance institutions, Regulators, Policy decision makers, Consultants and newcomers to the field. Students at previous Institutes have come from five continents, providing a unique opportunity for learning and networking with a diverse group of fellow practitioners. 

MDI in Ghana

The MDI Ghana courses will be facilitated by the top Microfinance and Development practitioners in the field. This multidisciplinary curriculum addresses poverty through a holistic approach allowing participants to choose a different knowledge track each week of the institute and offers;

  • Earned certificate and academic credit options
  • Field trips to microfinance and market development programs
  • Full day introduction to CED required for all week one and full two week enrollments
  • Evening guest speakers on Savings Led Microfinance, Rural Banking and Global Climate Change
  • Panel discussions on Savings Led Microfinance, Networks-Apexes and Government Role in Microfinance
