Optional Academic Credit and Fees:
Participants may take Institute classes for academic credit and earn up to 6 credits towards a 39 credit International Masters Degree in Community Economic Development (M.S. ICED). Students can earn three academic credits by attending three half day classes or six academic credits for six half day classes. Please note that a full day class is the equivalent of two half day classes.
Participants enrolling for credit towards the degree, are required to work with an academic advisor and design a practical project or research paper that benefits their actual field work. One assignment is due for each three academic credits. The participant will meet with the academic advisor to determine appropriate time frames for completion of each assignment. The final assignment must be completed within six months after the MDI-NH.

You may register for one or two weeks of the Institute. Courses run from one to six days. You must register for only one Knowledge Track per week (e.g. Microfinance, ProPoor Enterprise Development, Community Economic Development). Since space is limited in each class, preference will be given to individuals registering for two weeks of the Institute on a first-come first-serve basis. Applicants will be notified no later than May 15, 2008 of class availability.
Southern New Hampshire University will accept payment via check, credit cards or wire transfers. Payments either in full or a deposit of $500 must be received within 10 days of receipt of your application. Balance of any outstanding payment is due before arrival at the Institute.
If you cannot attend the Institute, you may request a refund in writing. Requests received before May 31, 2008 will be refunded in full, less a $100 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellation received after that date.
