Phi Delta Theta

The Phi Delta Theta Fraternity was founded on December 26, 1848, at Miami Univ. in Oxford, Ohio, and is considered one of the top ten fraternities in the country. Our chapter here is the 189th chapter, founded in 1983.  Our organization is the largest and only International Fraternity on the SNHU campus, and has over 250 chapters throughout the United States and Canada.  We pride ourself on three basic principles: friendship, sound learning, and moral rectitude.  The unity among our brothers creates friendships that last a lifetime.

Nationally referred to as Phi Delts, we pride ourselves as a chapter with leadership and a positive image in the SNHU community, as well as in the local Manchester community.  Phi Delts are true leaders here at SNHU, no matter where you look on campus; you’re bound to see one of us.  A few positions our brothers hold on campus are: President and Executive Officer and Senators of the Student Gov’t (SGA), Vice President and Executive Officer of the Inter-Greek Council (IGC), Staff on the campus newspaper, members of the campus activities planning board, members of the college republicans and many, many more.

In the past year we have won many awards and recognition from our National Headquarters and from the University.  The 2007-2008 school year is the 25th Anniversary for our chapter here at SNHU, with plans for it to be our best year ever.
