Plagiarism Education

While plagiarism may be deliberate, it may also occur unintentionally out of lack of understanding of how to document other sources.

SNHU students have several resources available to learn what plagiarism is and how to credit another person's intellectual property. They include:

  • English 120 and 121 College Composition Courses
  • Shapiro Library Documenting Sources Guide
  • The Brief Penguin Handbook ISBN 0-321-20259-7 available in the bookstore
  • SNHU Learning Center APA and MLA workshops
  • SNHU Academic Honesty Policy within the SNHU catalog which states how we define and respond to plagiarism.
