Center for Community Economic Development & Disabilities (CCEDD)

Established in 2003, Southern New Hampshire University's Center for Community Economic Development & Disability facilitates leveraging CED resources and expertise in the service of people with disabilities. It is sponsored in collaboration with the UNH Institute on Disability and the UNH University Center for Excellence and Disability.

People with disabilities have long been discouraged from earning and accumulating financial resources due to historical income caps and asset limits linked to health care and public safety net programs. Recent federal and state legislation have enabled people with disabilities to become part of a growing movement, asset building.
