Center for International Exchange

Go for the U.S. academic experience, and Southern New Hampshire University's Center for International Exchange will do everything it can to help you when you arrive.

The Center for International Exchange, located in Belknap Hall, assists and supports international students and scholars while they are at Southern New Hampshire University as non-immigrants.

The center provides orientation programs, immigration advising, travel documents, enrollment certification, information about applying for a Social Security number or a driver's license, practical training assistance and crosscultural adjustment counseling for international students and others coming to SNHU. Center staff also work with the student-led International Student Association to sponsor such intercultural events as International Night, which features fashion, music, dance and skits from around the world.

An important aspect of the work of CIE is to foster understanding among our students and faculty who come from all over the world.

The staff adheres to the principles and standards set forth by NAFSA: Association of International Educators and works to achieve the goals and objectives of the University's Division of Academic Affairs.
