Welcome to Database Management! Our main function is to monitor the mainframe database system in order to maintain the consistency and integrity of the information, and the database as a whole.
- Provide training and user support
- Research and test new screens and functions
- Maintain database related documentation
- Implement new features
- Handle problem resolution
- Ensure data integrity
- Develop Colleague training classes for online use in Blackboard
- Issue, terminate and maintain Colleague IDs and access
- Issue, terminate and maintain PENpal IDs and access
- Maintain PENpal web pages and customizations
- Handle all address and phone number changes for Colleague, Razor's Edge and EMAS
- Clean up duplicate institution and student records
The Database Management offices and training lab are in Exeter Hall which is located directly behind the Student Center. Database Management is in Exeter 57 across the hall from the Payroll Office.
