Dr. Lander's area of expertise is Corporate Finance. She teaches the required core Finance courses in the undergraduate and graduate business programs (Fin 320, Fin 500) as well as a Corporate Finance elective in each program (Fin 330, Fin 660). Her research is in the area of real asset valuation and managerial decision-making processes, focusing on the practical implementation of the Real Options Approach to Capital Budgeting.
