SNHU to Offer Arabic

Manchester, N.H. (Oct. 17, 2006) – Southern New Hampshire University will offer a course in Arabic language and culture.

The course is being offered through the university’s Manchester Center, located in Robert Frost Hall on the main campus. It will be held Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will run from Oct. 31 to March 3.  

The course will introduce students to modern standard Arabic and will focus on basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, simple conversations and awareness of the Arabic culture, language and traditions. It will be taught by Imane Naji Amrani, an SNHU graduate and native of Morocco, assisted by Said Al-Abri, of Oman.
