Manchester, N.H. (Nov. 17, 2006) – Former Massachusetts State Police Lt. Col.and Deputy Superintendent Bradley G. Hibbard has joined the faculty of Southern New Hampshire University. Hibbard, who played a critical role in the investigation that led to the indictment of James “Whitey” Bulger, will serve as an adjunct professor for SNHU’s new program in justice studies. The online Master of Science program is scheduled to begin in March 2007. The residential undergraduate program is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2007.

Hibbard resides in West Brookfield, Mass., and served for nearly 30 years in law enforcement. He is now director of state and local consulting for CTC Inc. Public Safety Technology Center in Westborough.

The graduate program in justice studies is intended for senior justice professionals who must understand law, constitutional protections, finance, budgets and employment policies. Justice and business courses provide the opportunity to analyze and critique operational and public policy from social, administrative, juridical, philosophical and managerial perspectives.
