McIninch Gallery Art Collection Exhibition at SNHU

Manchester, N.H. (Dec. 20, 2006) - Southern New Hampshire University’s McIninch Art Gallery will present an exhibition of selections from its permanent art collection from Jan. 22 through Feb. 15. This exhibition will feature works the gallery has collected since its inauguration in February 2002. 

The growing collection, supported by the generosity of the Friends of the McIninch Art Gallery, includes works by New Hampshire artists. It supports university curricula and provides a source of enjoyment, enlightenment and beauty for all who visit.

The exhibition will includes works by Carl Ashby, Gerald Auten, Rick Ayotte, Michael Eastman, Lotti Jacobi, Omer T. Lassonde, Melissa Miller, Peter Milton, Annette Mitchell, Richard Morin, Jules Olitski, Lauren Olitski, Dan Pouliot, Doug Prince, Galen Ray, Rebecca Robinson, Patricia Elliott Schappler, Clifford Smith and Gail Smuda. 

The gallery, which was made possible by a generous gift from the McIninch Foundation, is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The gallery is closed on Sundays. All gallery events are free and open to the public.
