Teaches the poetry workshop, modern poetry, American literature, African-American literature, Multi-ethnic American Literature, Gender studies, as well as several composition courses. She has published poetry in numerous literary magazines and critical articles in journals and book collections. Her current research focuses on eco-critical approaches to literature. She edits Amoskeag: the Journal of SNHU, a literary magazine sponsored by the University.
