While pursuing his associate degree in drama at a school near his hometown in New Jersey, Daniel Naranjo decided to take an accounting class that ended up changing his career path.
Now Daniel is a full-time auditor for an insurance company and is working toward a B.S. degree in accounting. “My sister got her degree online from Southern New Hampshire University, and I felt more comfortable knowing that she had a great experience,” he says.
Daniel’s encouraging, attentive and available teachers are making his experience a positive one.
“One of my professors asked the question, what were we hoping for in life? She encouraged us to achieve our dream and advised us on our futures,” he says.
Daniel now has a clear vision of his career and is looking forward to passing the CPA exam and working for an accounting firm.
