LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The Southern New Hampshire women’s soccer team used a pair of second half goals to post a 2-0 win over Georgian Court University Sunday afternoon.  The Penmen improved to 4-4-1 overall, while the Lions are now 4-5 on the season.

After a scoreless first half, SNHU got on the board in the opening moments of the second stanza when Sophia Saint Paul (Brockton, MA) tallied her first goal of the season.  With just under 20 minutes remaining, the Penmen added an insurance goal when Ali Trafton (Manchester, ME) scored her first collegiate goal, an unassisted tally.

Stef Young (Natick, MA) posted her fourth shutout of the season.

Southern New Hampshire returns to action on Wednesday night when it travels to fourth-ranked Bryant University for a 3:00 match.
