Volleyball Falls to Saint Anselm
MANCHESTER, N.H. – Host Saint Anselm College posted a 3-0 Northeast-10 women’s volleyball victory over Southern New Hampshire University at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium Saturday morning. The Hawks, who won by scores of 30-21, 30-25, 33-31, improve to 2-12 overall and 1-7 in Northeast-10 play, while the Penmen are now 5-8 and 1-5 in the league.
For Southern New Hampshire, Brooke Lefort (Cumberland, RI) led the way with nine kills while Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) had eight. Casey Stoodley (Salem, NH) and Jamie Rood (Southbury, CT) had seven kills apiece. Brianna Doucet (Danville, NH) led the Penmen with 18 digs while Kelly Scanlon (East Providence, RI) handed out 17 assists.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action Wednesday evening when it hosts Stonehill College in a 7:00 match at the SNHU Fieldhouse.
