Students who graduate with an associate degree in animation and graphic game programming from New Hampshire Technical Institute can earn a bachelor’s degree in game design and development from Southern New Hampshire University in just two years.

Game development is an interdisciplinary activity, involving storytelling, computer hardware design and programming, visual and audio artistry, and business and marketing skills. SNHU’s B.A./B.S. program in game design allows students to choose specialize in one or more of these areas.

Electronic gaming – which can be used for education, training and other serious purposes as well as for entertainment – is a rapidly growing field. With sales projected to grow to $58 billion by the end of 2007, the demand for game developers is high.
