Three Named to Northeast-10 Honor Rolls
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Seniors Laurie Boland (Worcester, MA) and Lori Robinson (Bow, NH) of the Southern New Hampshire University women’s soccer team and freshman Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) of the Penmen volleyball team were all named to their respective Northeast-10 weekly honor rolls on Monday.
Robinson, playing in her final collegiate game last Tuesday against American International, notched a pair of goals, scoring the first and last goals of the game in a 4-1 victory. Her second goal came with just four seconds remaining in the contest. Robinson finished second on the squad in scoring, notching three goals and three assists for nine points.
Boland recorded a pair of assists in the victory over the Yellow Jackets, including an assist on Michelle Moore’s game-winning goal midway through the first half. Boland wrapped up her final season in an SNHU uniform by posting team-highs in goals (6), assists (6) and points (18).
Dluginski averaged 3.0 kills and 1.83 blocks per game in a 1-2 week for the Penmen. She recorded 17 kills and a .533 hitting percentage in a 3-2 setback to Saint Rose on Saturday then tallied 11 blocks (six solo, five assists) in a loss to Le Moyne on Sunday. For the week Dluginski hit at a .403 clip. This season Dluginski leads the Penmen with 251 kills and 96 blocks.
