MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University men’s soccer coach Dave Anderson announced Thursday that he will resign his position effective November 30, 2007.

“I would like to thank Dave for his efforts with the men’s soccer program over the past 10 years, both as head coach and as an assistant,” said SNHU Director of Athletics Chip Polak. “We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”

Anderson was named the sixth head coach in program history on April 7, 2004 and compiled a 33-30-13 record in four seasons.  The Penmen reached the Northeast-10 Tournament in each of Anderson’s four seasons and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2006.  Prior to being named head coach, Anderson was an assistant coach for the men’s soccer program for six seasons, during which time SNHU made four NCAA appearances and advanced to the Division II championship game in 2002.

A national search for Anderson’s successor will begin immediately.
