SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Senior Matt Delaney (Wallasey, England) and sophomore Richard Kentish (Kingston, Jamaica) of the Southern New Hampshire University men’s soccer team were named to the Northeast-10 Men’s Soccer All-Conference team, it was announced Saturday.  Delaney was a First Team selection for the second straight season, while Kentish was a Second Team choice by the NE-10 coaches.

Delaney started all 18 games for Southern New Hampshire in 2007, anchoring a defense along with Kentish that allowed just 18 goals in 17 regular season games and posted six shutouts.  Delaney, who last week was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, was also the Penmen’s leading scorer, recording five goals for 10 points.

Kentish, in his first season with the Penmen after transferring from Division I Connecticut, was also a mainstay on the backline, starting 17 games for the SNHU defense.  In two seasons of collegiate soccer, Kentish has started all but two games.
