SNHU Advantage Program

An Affordable Alternative

Go for Less
When he graduated from high school, Billy Flynn wanted to attend college at SNHU’s main campus. Then, his parents split up.

“My parents had no money, and I had no money,” said the 18-year-old Nashua resident. “My guidance counselor told me about a new program in Nashua, the Advantage Program.”

For some students, the program is an opportunity to strengthen study skills. For others, including Billy, who graduated from high school with a 3.6 GPA, it offers an affordable alternative to a traditional college education.

Billy attends morning classes four days a week, works full-time at a local supermarket, studies, sleeps, gets up and does it all again. So do many of his classmates.

“I see some advantages of being in the Advantage Program,” Billy said. “I’m paying for college myself. This is coming from me, and it feels really nice.”

You can afford college.
