Southern New Hampshire University will be distributing Graduation (Commencement) tickets to students who are eligible to participate in the ceremony as determined by the SNHU Registrar. Tickets will be available for online pick-up only starting on March 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. (EST). The following information provides details of how and when tickets can be obtained.
-
Students who have petitioned and been cleared to participate in the graduation ceremony by the Registrar’s Office will be able to reserve up to six (6) tickets for their guests; graduating students participating in the ceremony do not need a ticket. Tickets can be obtained by following this Graduation Ticket link:
Students must reserve their tickets online if they intend on inviting guests to the ceremony. Just use your SNHU username and password to login to the Graduation Ticket site. If login information has been forgotten, the SNHU Help Desk can be contacted at helpdesk@snhu.edu. -
Students wishing to request more than six (6) tickets will need to submit a “wait list” request through the Graduation Ticket site where they will have the opportunity to request up to four (4) additional tickets. “Wait list” tickets – if available -- will be released after April 26, 2010. Historically, student requests for additional tickets (up to 4) have been accommodated based on prior student demand for tickets.
-
After students have reserved their tickets, they will need to print an e-ticket for each guest they have invited. Only guests with printed e-tickets will be admitted to the event. It is their responsibility to have the tickets with them as they enter the arena. If they do not have their ticket with them, they will not have access to the arena.
-
Commencement e-tickets may not be photocopied. Each e-ticket has a unique barcode on it and all e-tickets will be verified at the arena entrance by bar code scanners. Each e-ticket may be scanned only one time. Anyone holding a ticket, which cannot be authenticated, will not be admitted.
-
Graduating students are asked to order only the tickets they know they need so that other members of the university community may have the opportunity to attend Commencement. If for some reason a student has reserved more tickets than he/she actually needs, we ask that the student e-mail us at commencement@snhu.edu with his/her record locator number from his/her original order and the number of tickets he/she wants to return. This will help us accommodate other graduates who may need additional tickets.
-
Petition to Walk Students
Students who are Petitioning to Walk will be able to reserve tickets starting on March 31, 2010. This will allow the Registrar to verify and enter your infomation. -
Announcements picked up at the Campus Store are just that -- they are not tickets.
-
