Hammermeister, Darrell Named to Weekly Honor Rolls
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Senior Brandon Hammermeister (Calgary, ALB) of the Southern New Hampshire University ice hockey team and freshman Sherry Darrell (Bow, NH) of the Penmen women’s lacrosse team were named to their respective Northeast-10 Conference weekly honor rolls, it was announced on Monday.
Hammermeister closed out his outstanding career with the SNHU hockey team in style, recording a hat trick in his final collegiate game with three goals in the Northeast-10 semifinals against Saint Anselm. It marked the third career hat trick for Hammermeister and his 13th multi-point game of the season. Hammermeister led Southern New Hampshire with 18 goals and 19 assists for 37 points.
Darrell got her collegiate career off on the right foot with a team-high four points (two goals, two assists) in a setback to nationally-ranked Adelphi in the women’s lacrosse team’s season opener on Saturday. Darrell is a graduate of Bow High School.
