SNHU Student Concert Features Third Eye Blind

Manchester, N.H. (March 24, 2008) – The American alternative rock band Third Eye Blind; with special guest, State Radio, will perform at Southern New Hampshire University’s Fieldhouse on April 13, at 8 p.m.;  doors will open at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale at www.snhutickets.com and at the SNHU Student Center Information Booth.  Admission for students is $15; general public $20; limit to 6 tickets per person.

Third Eye Blind has had major success since the early 1990s.  The band won the Billboard Music Award in 1997 and was nominated for two American Music Awards for Favorite New Artist and Favorite Artist in 1998.  “Semi-Charmed Life,” the band’s first single was a No. 1 modern rock hit; other mega-hits include, “How’s It Going To Be,” “Jumper,” “Graduate,” and “Deep Inside of You.”  In addition, the band will perform fresh songs from its new album “The Hideous Strength,” which will be released this year.

This event is sponsored by the Coordinators of Activities and Programming Events.  C.A.P.E. is Southern New Hampshire University’s student-run organization responsible for planning both on-campus and off-campus events for students.
